Francis OkarohFrancis Okaroh has traveled and studied soccer on three continents (Africa, Europe, and North America) has earned the highest U.S. coaching license available the U.S.S.F. A National License.  

Francis has played all levels of soccer, here in the United States and internationally.  Francis was an All-American selection while playing at Boston University. After leaving Boston University, Francis played for many teams in Europe before playing two years in the MISL with the Cleveland Force.

Francis took his talents to the MLS where he played for six summers. Francis was recognized as Defender of the Year 1996 and 1997 for the New England Revolution. He won the MLS CUP and US Open Cup in 1998 witht the Chicago Fire.  In 2000 he reached the finals of the MLS Cup with the Miami Fusion. 

Recent successes include coaching F.C. Greater Boston Bolts Boys Club to four consecutive Mass State Cup Championships plus two in 2006, a Region 1 has won three League Championships, three U.S. Region 1 Championships, and the Adidas U15 Cup as US Youth National Champions in 2005. Most Recently taking over as Director of F.C. Blazers in his first year brought the U17 Boys to the Finals of the US Region 1 Championships (2007,2008,2009). in 2011 and 2015 FC Blazers teams had 5 team in the State Cup Finals 4 of which won and went to the Region 1 Championships. The 1997 Blazers boys teams made back to back semi-final appearences at the Region 1 championships in 2015 and 2016 as well as wining 3 of the top ranked tournaments in the country in 2014 ( Disney, Massapequa, and PDT).

Honored by Women's Division III High School Soccer in Massachusetts as Coach of the Year 2005. In 2005 Francis was inducted in the New England Soccer Hall of Fame and in 2006 the Boston University Hall of Fame. In 2007 Francis returns to his alma Mata as a member of the Boston University Coaching staff. In 2009 Francis was named to the Boston University Hall of Fame Board.

Coaching Staff

Francis Okaroh's Ultimate Soccer Academy. is fun, challenging, learning resource for players at every level. Members of college soccer teams will be present at all sessions and will interact closely with the campers throughout the week. In addition to the coaching staff, the camp may feature guest appearances from professional players and/or college stand-outs; schedules permitting. 

Ben Okaroh
Ben Okaroh, Two-time All-American in men’s soccer (1986 and 1987) was Boston University’s MVP in three consecutive seasons. He started all 79 games he played at BU, leading the Terriers to consecutive NCAA tournament appearances. In 1985, the Terriers advanced to the quarterfinals, and in 1986 they set a school record with 16 wins.   Ben Okaroh was also a finalist for the Hermann Trophy that year, college soccer’s national player of the year award. A center defender, he graduated in 1987.

Jenn has worked with Francis for the last 15 summers and knows exactly what it takes to help your child learn, have fun, and make a memorable experience at camp. She is an experienced highschool Varsity head coach at Framingham High school. Through out her tenure she has helped many player go onto successful college careers as student athletes.

Billy implements the most modern training methods and creates individualized training regiments for each goalkeeper at the club. He has experience working with some of the most respected goalkeeper coaches in the country and around the world from Dan Gaspar, Per Henrikson, Brian Jones, and Todd Hoffard. Your child has the opportunity to learn from a very experienced coach who knows how to motivate, teach, and develop goalkeepers to reach their potential and compete at a high level. At Francis Okaroh's Ultimate Soccer Academy your child recieves the proper individual attention the goalkeeping position requires. 


Goalkeeping training covers handeling, distribution (punting, goalkicks, throwing), 1o1 play, shot stopping, crossing, punching, angle play, communication, set piece set up, goalkeeping psychology training, and a college recruitment info session.


As a player Billy has a wealth of experience at the youth, collegiate, and semi- professional level.
